Faux leather is no longer just for bikers and rockers! We are obsessing over all the new fall faux leather trends we are seeing on social media platforms and major magazines. What do we love about the faux leather trends? Just like suedes and faux fur, faux leather is a textured fabric and we think textured fabrics are important an adding contrast and flair to any of your favorite basic outfits. This material has come a long way from its edgy all-black origins and is now available in a wider range of shades like burgundy, tans, and whites. Some of our favorite faux pieces are pants, skirts and tops. Even if your style is far from bold, adding a contrary piece to your look is a smart way to apply the concept of “opposites attract” to your outfit to create an eye-catching, elevated look.
Faux Leather Pants
Styled casual or sophisticated, the faux leather pant is a must-have for everyone. While leather pants have been on the fashion scene forever, they’ve become bigger than ever these last few seasons. We had our first hint that faux leather pants would soon be trending in a major way when we saw them all over the fall/winter 2020 runways. Its Fall 2021 and we are seeing, fashion-forward celebs and style influencers embracing the trend-- and, now the leather pant is everywhere, announcing itself as one of the most dominant trends of 2021.
This season we have seen designers branched out in faux leather looks. We’re seeing leather pants that feature wide legs, straight legs, bootcut legs, tailoring, various color ways, unique finishes, sporty details, and of course JoJo loves them all!
A few of our favorites are the Jayce faux leather jogger, a classic fit jogger that is being described by customers and clients as being super soft, cozy and comfortable. They’re versatility in styling is also a bonus! We are also obsessed with the Jessie Faux pant. Unlike the traditional leather jogger, the Jessie is a mid-ankle flair with button-down detail! JoJo wore these in this week’s tutorial….so COMFORTABLE!
