Thank you for voting JoJo + Coco ‘Best of Lower Columbia 2021’ First Place. We appreciate you taking the time to recognize us for this award. I can sincerely say that being recognized by my community and clients like this brings me pure joy and happiness. 

I was nominated along with other locally owned women boutique owners who I have much respect and admiration for. Any of these businesses can be recognized for their top- notch customer service and willingness to go above and beyond for their customers. Their willingness and desire to put their communities first has been proven time and time again and that’s not always an easy task when you’re trying to grow a business and pay the bills! I can honestly say I have witnessed these individual businesses support their fellow boutique owners. Britney from Jade Ann has saved me a couple of times when I frantically needed help launching my Crate Club…thanks girl! I believe our community is extremely blessed to have the women clothing boutique options that they do have. We are unique in our own way and that’s what makes all of our businesses a success! I want to thank Britney from Jade Ann Boutique, Lindsey from Apogee Boutique, Michelle from Posh on Commerce and all the other locally owned small businesses. On a side note there are a few Hair Salons and Boutiques that also offer some great options as well. Halo Salon and Boutique and Honey Beauty Bar also have some great clothing options for you as well!

There can be many risk and hardships when opening your own business and I have always said small business owners are some of the most courageous individuals I know. There are financial, emotional and physical stresses when owning your own business and competing against the “Big Guys” whom have unlimited resources and  can sometimes offer consumers faster turn-around and lower prices. They also have an abundance of resources that small businesses don’t have. Now that we are getting back to some normalcy and things are starting to open back up again we need your support more than ever. I believe we will have to work even harder to capture and maintain customers and clients because larger retailers will be doing everything they can to attract your business and capture your dollars. I know every single small business appreciates the community support they have received this year and years past. I’ve spoken to several business owners and they are beyond appreciative of the continued support. So, thank you!!!!!!

I personally want to thank my customers and clients who I consider friends and family, all the other small business owners in our community, the Cowlitz Economic Development Council, (a big shout out to Lindsey Cope) and of course my business partner Marnie who owns the best shoe store in this state!!
